Volunteer with Creative Northland

Volunteers fulfill an essential role at Creative Northland and without them, many of the events wouldn’t be possible. In return we can offer a great work environment, friendly faces and opportunities to learn new skills.

Internship

Creative Northland introduced an intern programme to help grow the talent base in Northland — hands-on experience, skills development, a reference and contacts in the arts sector.

Toi Māori Aotearoa Māori Arts Internship

Creative Northland joined Atamira Dance Company and the NZ Festival as hosts of the MAI Programme. Leonard Foley Murupaenga was selected for a 20-week internship including developing Māori Theatre in Northland and mural workshop work at the Northland Youth Summit Arts Festival.
